20. The COP, at its seventeenth session, agreed on the functions and activities of the SC, including the organization of a forum for the communication and continued exchange of information among bodies and entities dealing with climate change finance in order to promote linkages and coherence.

1. The Conference of the Parties (COP), at its seventeenth session, agreed on the functions and activities of the Standing Committee (SC), including the organization of a forum for the communication and continued exchange of information among bodies and entities dealing with climate change finance in order to promote linkages and coherence.
1- اتفق مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته السابعة عشرة على مهام وأنشطة اللجنة الدائمة، بما يشمل تنظيم منتدى للاتصال والتبادل المستمر للمعلومات فيما بين الهيئات والكيانات المعنية بتمويل مكافحة تغير المناخ من أجل تعزيز الروابط والاتساق.

(b) Ensure the effective implementation of the Guidelines Governing the Adoption of Children, 2011; establish effective monitoring mechanisms and accreditation of all individuals and entities dealing with adoption either directly or as intermediaries; consider limiting their number and ensure that domestic and inter-country adoption processes do not result in financial gains to any party;

25. In accordance with decision 2/CP.17, one of the functions of the SCF is to organize a forum for the communication and continued exchange of information among bodies and entities dealing with climate change finance in order to promote linkages and coherence.

As outlined in its work programme for 2013 - 2015, the SCF in collaboration with the World Bank Institute organized the first forum for the communication and continued exchange of information among bodies and entities dealing with climate change finance in order to promote linkages and coherence.

19. In accordance with decision 2/CP.17, one of the functions of the SCF is to conduct a forum for the communication and continued exchange of information among bodies and entities dealing with climate change finance in order to promote linkages and coherence.

3. The main objective of the forum, as per decision 2/CP.17, paragraph 121(a), is to facilitate communication and continued exchange of information among bodies and entities dealing with climate change finance, in order to promote linkages and coherence.
3- يتمثل الهدف الرئيسي للمنتدى، وفق ما تنص عليه الفقرة 121(أ) من المقرر 2/م أ-17، في تيسير الاتصال والتبادل المستمر للمعلومات فيما بين الهيئات والكيانات المعنية بتمويل مكافحة تغير المناخ، من أجل تعزيز الروابط والاتساق.

21. In 2012, the SC worked on a strategy for the forum of the SC, and decided that to enable communication and continued exchange of information among bodies and entities dealing with climate change finance, the forum will be delivered through a dual modality: in person (once per year) and virtual (on a continuous and ongoing basis).
