This important resolution is one of a series of OAS resolutions specifically addressing issues of internal displacement. It calls on member States to strengthen and enhance their protection of IDPs, including through the adoption and implementation of the Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement in their domestic legislation and policies.

6. CHRC recommended encouraging Canada to facilitate awareness, capacity and implementation of the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, endorsed by the Human Rights Council in 2011.

My report to the General Assembly on the dissemination and implementation of the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (A/HRC/21/21 and Corr.1) provides relevant recommendations in this regard.

In its resolution 21/5, the Human Rights Council welcomed the report of the Secretary-General on the contribution of the United Nations system as a whole to the advancement of the human rights agenda and the dissemination and implementation of the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (A/HRC/21/21 and Corr.1).
رحّب مجلس حقوق الإنسان، في قراره 21/5، بتقرير الأمين العام عن مساهمة منظومة الأمم المتحدة ككل في النهوض ببرنامج الأعمال التجارية وحقوق الإنسان ونشر وتنفيذ المبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة بالأعمال التجارية وحقوق الإنسان (A/HRC/21/21 وCorr.1).

20. Participating organizations are encouraged to share information about experiences of and tools and initiatives for advancing the business and human rights agenda and implementation of the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, through interventions in sessions and informal dialogue across and within stakeholder groups.
20- وتُشجَّع المنظمات المشارِكة على تقاسم المعلومات عن التجارب والأدوات والمبادرات المتعلقة بدعم جدول الأعمال الخاص بالأعمال التجارية وحقوق الإنسان وتنفيذ المبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة بالأعمال التجارية وحقوق الإنسان عن طريق المداخلات في الجلسات والحوار غير الرسمي بين مجموعات الجهات صاحبة المصلحة وداخلها.

23. The report of the Secretary-General to the twenty-first session of the Human Rights Council makes recommendations on how the United Nations system as a whole can contribute to the advancement of the business and human rights agenda, and the dissemination and implementation of the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
