The Commission calls upon all relevant actors to work towards free and fair elections and to bear in mind, in their activities of support for the elections, the equal right of women to vote and to be elected, and in this regard welcomes the fact 40 per cent of the voters participating in the elections were women.

107. Stresses the need for coordinated regional efforts to combat the drug problem, and in this regard welcomes the holding of the Regional Ministerial Conference on Counter-Narcotics in Islamabad on 12 and 13 November 2012, aimed at enhancing regional cooperation to counter narcotics;
107 - تؤكد ضرورة بذل جهود إقليمية منسقة لمكافحة مشكلة المخدرات، وترحب في هذا الصدد بعقد المؤتمر الوزاري الإقليمي لمكافحة المخدرات في إسلام آباد في 12 و 13 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2012 بهدف تعزيز التعاون الإقليمي في مجال مكافحة المخدرات؛

Stresses the importance of improving maternal and child health, and in this regard welcomes the declaration of the African Union summit on maternal, infant and child health and development, held in Kampala from 19 to 27 July 2010, and acknowledges the Campaign on Accelerated Reduction of Maternal Mortality in Africa;
9 - تؤكد أهمية تحسين صحة الأم والطفل، وترحب في هذا الصدد بإعلان مؤتمر قمة الاتحاد الأفريقي المعني بصحة الأمهات والرضع والأطفال ونمائهم الذي عقد في كمبالا في الفترة من 19 إلى 27 تموز/يوليه 2010، وتنوه بحملة التعجيل بخفض وفيات الأمهات أثناء النفاس في أفريقيا؛

Expresses its appreciation of the Guiding Principles on Internal Displacement, as an important tool for dealing with situations of internal displacement, and in this regard welcomes the fact that an increasing number of States, United Nations agencies, and regional and nongovernmental organizations are making use of the Guiding Principles, and encourages the further use and application of the Guiding Principles;
12- تعرب عن تقديرها للمبادئ التوجيهية بوصفها أداة هامة لمعالجة حالات التشرد الداخلي، وترحب في هذا الصدد بأن عدداً متزايداً من الدول ووكالات الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الإقليمية والمنظمات غير الحكومية تستخدم المبادئ التوجيهية، وتشجع على زيادة نشرها وتطبيقها؛

The Security Council also notes the importance of the deployment in Rwandan territory of civilian observers responsible for monitoring the establishment of a more secure environment, and in this regard welcomes the measures envisaged by the High Commissioner for Human Rights, within his mandate, with the assistance of certain Member States.
