We appeal to the sense of justice, equity and international solidarity of the United States Congress to prevent that initiative from becoming law, because if it does come into force, it would amount to a clear breach of international law and a political precedent that would be unacceptable to the rest of the world.
ونحـــن نخاطب في كونغرس الولايات المتحدة إحساسه بالعدل واﻹنصاف والتضامن الدولي ونناشده أن يمنع هذه المبادرة من أن تتحول الى قانون، ﻷنه متى أصبح نافذ المفعول، فسيصل الى مستوى الانتهاك السافر للقانون الدولي ويشكل سابقة سياسية لن تقبلها بقية العالم.

We appeal to the sense of justice, equity and international solidarity of the United States Congress to stop what would be, if passed, a clear violation of international law and an unacceptable political precedent for the rest of the world.
إننا نخاطب أحاسيس العدالة والمساواة والتضامن الدولي في نفوس أعضاء كونغرس الولايات المتحدة فنهيب بهم أن يوقفوا هذا القانون الذي سيمثل، في حالة إقراره، انتهاكا واضحا للقانون الدولي ويشكل سابقة سياسية غير مقبولة لبقية العالم.

In its resolution 18/5, the Council requested the Advisory Committee to prepare inputs to contribute to the elaboration by the Independent Expert on human rights and international solidarity of a draft declaration on the rights of peoples and individuals to international solidarity, and to the further development of guidelines, standards, norms and principles with a view to promoting and protecting that right.
76-وطلب المجلس، في قراره 18/5، إلى اللجنة الاستشارية أن تعد مدخلات تسهم بها فيما تقوم به الخبيرة المستقلة المعنية بحقوق الإنسان والتضامن الدولي من صياغة لمشروع إعلان بشأن حق الشعوب والأفراد في التضامن الدولي، وفي مواصلة وضع مبادئ توجيهية ومعايير وقواعد ومبادئ بهدف تعزيز ذلك الحق وحمايته.

37. In September 2013, OHCHR participated in a side event held during the twenty-fourth session of the Human Rights Council on the right to development and the post-2015 development agenda, organized by the members of the Working Group on the Right to Development and international solidarity of the Geneva Forum of Catholic-Inspired NGOs, speaking on the theme " Realizing the transformative vision of the Declaration on the Right to Development " .
37- شاركت المفوضية السامية في أيلول/سبتمبر 2013 في نشاط مواز عُقد خلال الدورة الرابعة والعشرين لمجلس حقوق الإنسان بشأن الحق في التنمية، وخطة التنمية لما بعد عام 2015، وهو نشاط نظمه أعضاء الفريق العامل المعني بالحق في التنمية والتضامن الدولي لمنتدى جنيف للمنظمات غير الحكومية المستلهمة من الكاثوليكية() من أجل تناول موضوع " تحقيق رؤية التحول الخاصة بإعلان الحق في التنمية " .
