212. The High Commissioner shares the concerns of the Committee on the Rights of the Child and notes in this regard the lack of progress in reforming the Juvenile Code to bring it into line with the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

١٨ - تؤيد الجهود التي يبذلها الممثل السامي وفقا لاتفاق السلام واﻹعلانات اللاحقة الصادرة عن مجلس تنفيذ السلام لمجابهة السلوك التعويقي ضد اتفاق السلام وجهود المصالحة، وتلاحظ في هذا الصدد قرار الممثل السامي المؤرخ ٢٩ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٩ بإقالة اثنين وعشرين مسؤولا حكوميا بوسنيا؛

Notes new opportunities for democratic forces and non-governmental organizations to work effectively, and strongly supports their efforts to promote and protect human rights and fundamental freedoms, and strengthen civil society, and notes in this regard the opportunities afforded by the Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe;
