وقد استجابت اﻵليات والممارسات التي وضعتها اﻷمم المتحدة في ميدان حفظ السلم استجابة مرنة للطلبات الجديدة في السنوات اﻷخيرة.

The Commission further recalled that, in order to facilitate informal consultations among all interested States, the Secretariat had been requested to prepare a compilation of procedural rules and practices established by UNCITRAL or by the General Assembly in its resolutions regarding the work of the Commission.
واستذكرت اللجنة كذلك أنه، تيسيرا لإجراء مشاورات غير رسمية بين جميع الدول المهتمة، طُلب إلى الأمانة أن تعد تجميعا للقواعد الإجرائية والممارسات التي قررتها الأونسيترال أو الجمعية العامة في قراراتها بشأن أعمال اللجنة.
