In addition, work has been under way to draw up the Programme for Prevention and Protection of the rights to life, liberty, integrity and security of persons, groups and communities exposed to exceptional or extreme risks as a direct result of their political, public, social or humanitarian activities or on account of their performing their task, with special emphasis on women.
