As co-chair of the Standing Committee on Victim Assistance and Socio-Economic Reintegration, we welcome the opportunity to highlight the issue of victim assistance during the second Review Conference of the States Parties to the Mine Ban Convention, to be held in Cartagena, Colombia, at the end of this year.
