6. Urges the Governments of countries where opium poppy is cultivated for the extraction of alkaloids to implement and maintain adequate control mechanisms in accordance with the provisions of the 1961 Convention and that Convention as amended by the 1972 Protocol;
6- تحثّ حكومات البلدان التي يُزرع فيها خشخاش الأفيون لاستخلاص أشباه القلويات على تنفيذ الآليات الرقابية الوافية بالغرض والحفاظ عليها وفقا لأحكام اتفاقية سنة 1961، وتلك الاتفاقية بصيغتها المعدّلة ببروتوكول سنة 1972؛

8. Requests the International Narcotics Control Board to continue its efforts to monitor the implementation of the relevant Economic and Social Council resolutions in full compliance with the 1961 Convention and that Convention as amended by the 1972 Protocol;
8- تطلب إلى الهيئة الدولية لمراقبة المخدرات أن تواصل جهودها الرامية إلى رصد تنفيذ قرارات المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ذات الصلة، مع الامتثال التام لأحكام الاتفاقية الوحيدة للمخدرات لسنة 1961 وتلك الاتفاقية بصيغتها المعدّلة ببروتوكول سنة 1972؛

b As defined in article 1 (d) of the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs of 1961 and that Convention as amended by the 1972 Protocol, " cannabis resin " means the separated or partially separated resin, whether crude or purified, of the cannabis plant.
(ب) وفق التعريف الوارد في المادة 1 (د) من الاتفاقية الوحيدة للمخدرات لسنة 1961 وتلك الاتفاقية بصيغتها المعدَّلة ببروتوكول سنة 1972، يقصد بتعبير " راتنج القنب " الراتنج المفصول كليا أو جزئيا من نبتة القنب سواء أكان خاما أو منقّى.

Reiterating the commitments made in the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs of 1961 and that Convention as amended by the 1972 Protocol, and noting in particular the preamble, which declares the concern of States parties for the health and welfare of mankind,
إذ تؤكّد مجدّدا الالتزامات التي قُطعت في الاتفاقية الوحيدة للمخدّرات لسنة 1961،() وتلك الاتفاقية بصيغتها المعدَّلة ببروتوكول عام 1972،() وإذ تشير بخاصة إلى ديباجتها التي تعرب عن قلق الدول الأطراف بشأن صحة البشرية ورفاهها،

Noting the fundamental need for international cooperation with the traditional supplier countries in drug control to ensure universal application of the provisions of the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs of 1961 and that Convention as amended by the 1972 Protocol,
وإذ ينوّه بالحاجة الأساسية إلى التعاون على الصعيد الدولي مع البلدان المورّدة التقليدية في مجال مراقبة المخدّرات، ضمانا للتطبيق العالمي لأحكام الاتفاقية الوحيدة للمخدّرات لسنة 1961() وتلك الاتفاقية بصيغتها المعدّلة ببروتوكول 1972،()

Recalling the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs of 1961 and that Convention as amended by the 1972 Protocol, the Convention on Psychotropic Substances of 1971 and the United Nations Convention against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances of 1988,
إذ تستذكر الاتفاقية الوحيدة للمخدرات لسنة 1961،() وتلك الاتفاقية بصيغتها المعدّلة ببروتوكول سنة 1972،() واتفاقية المؤثّرات العقلية لسنة 1971،() واتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الاتجار غير المشروع في المخدرات والمؤثّرات العقلية لسنة 1988،()

وإذ يلاحظ الحاجة الأساسية إلى التعاون على الصعيد الدولي مع البلدان المورّدة التقليدية في مجال مراقبة المخدّرات، ضمانا للتطبيق العالمي لأحكام الاتفاقية الوحيدة للمخدّرات لسنة 1961() وتلك الاتفاقية بصيغتها المعدّلة ببروتوكول 1972()،

وإذ يلاحظ أن هناك حاجة جوهرية إلى التعاون الدولي على مراقبة المخدرات مع البلدان المورّدة التقليدية والراسخة، ضمانا للامتثال العالمي لأحكام الاتفاقية الوحيدة للمخدرات لسنة 1961() وتلك الاتفاقية بصيغتها المعدلة ببروتوكول 1972()،
