3. Requests the Department of Political Affairs and the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat to take into account the suggestions of the Special Committee to continue their efforts to take measures through all the media available, including publications, radio and television, as well as the Internet, to give publicity to the work of the United Nations in the field of decolonization and, inter alia:
٣ - تطلب الى إدارة الشؤون السياسية وإدارة شؤون اﻹعلام التابعتين لﻷمانة العامة أن تأخذا في الاعتبار اقتراحات اللجنة الخاصة، وأن تواصلا جهودهما لاتخاذ تدابير من خلال جميع وسائط اﻹعلام المتاحة، بما فيها المنشورات واﻹذاعة والتلفزيون، وكذلك شبكة انترنت، للتعريف بأعمال اﻷمم المتحدة في ميدان إنهاء الاستعمار وأن تقوما بأمور منها:

26. It is also assumed that dissemination of information on the Convention and the Optional Protocol would be implemented by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat, within their existing capacities.

The Office of the Special Adviser on Africa will maintain its mandate and programme budget as well as provide overall coordination for and leadership of programme 9, which will be under the joint responsibility of the Office of the Special Adviser on Africa, ECA and the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat.

8.6 The programme will be under the joint responsibility of the Office of the Special Adviser for Africa, the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat.

7. Requests the Secretary-General to take specific measures, in particular within the mandates of the United Nations Volunteers and the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat, to disseminate widely the present resolution and the annex;
7 - تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يتخذ تدابير محددة، وبخاصة ضمن ولايات متطوعي الأمم المتحدة وإدارة شؤون الإعلام بالأمانة العامة، لنشر هذا القرار ومرفقه على نطاق واسع؛

The International Criminal Court, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat provided publications free of charge, which were included in the training materials provided to the participants.
وقدمت المحكمة الجنائية الدولية، ولجنة الصليب الأحمر الدولية، ومفوضية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان، ومكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة، وإدارة شؤون الإعلام التابعة للأمانة العامة، منشورات مجانا، وأدرجت تلك المنشورات في مواد التدريب المقدمة إلى المشاركين.

9.11 The Office the Special Adviser on Africa provides overall coordination and leadership for the programme, the joint responsibility for which it shares with ECA and the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat.

The Department worked closely with members of the Committee for the Promotion and Advancement of Cooperatives, the International Cooperative Alliance, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), ILO and the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat to promote the Year.
وعملت الإدارة على نحو وثيق مع الأعضاء الآخرين في لجنة تشجيع مساعدة التعاونيات والنهوض بها والتحالف التعاوني الدولي ومنظمة الأمم المتحدة للأغذية والزراعة ومنظمة العمل الدولية وإدارة شؤون الإعلام التابعة للأمانة العامة، على ترويج السنة.

12. Also requests the Secretary-General to take measures, in particular within the mandates and the existing resources of the United Nations Volunteers and the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat, to ensure that the potential of the International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development in follow-up to the International Year of Volunteers is fully realized;
12 - تطلب أيضا إلى الأمين العام اتخاذ تدابير، وعلى الخصوص في نطاق ولايتي متطوعي الأمم المتحدة وإدارة شؤون الإعلام بالأمانة العامة والموارد المتاحة لهما حاليا، لكفالة التحقيق الكامل لإمكانيات اليوم الدولي للمتطوعين من أجل التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية في إطار متابعة السنة الدولية للمتطوعين؛

12. The Secretary-General also indicated, in paragraph 26 of his report, that dissemination of information on the Convention and the Optional Protocol would be carried out by OHCHR and the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat within their existing capacities.
12 - وأشار الأمين العام أيضاً، في الفقرة 26 من تقريره، إلى أن مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان وإدارة شؤون الإعلام التابعة للأمانة العامة ستقومان بنشر المعلومات عن الاتفاقية وبروتوكولها الاختياري، في حدود القدرات الموجودة لديهما.

At Headquarters, in addition to a special meeting of the Committee, an art exhibit entitled " Palestine: memories, dreams, perseverance " was organized under the auspices of the Committee, in cooperation with the Permanent Observer Mission of the State of Palestine to the United Nations and the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat.

At Headquarters, the Committee organized a special meeting, as well as a concert featuring Nai Barghouti and her troupe and Mohammed Assaf, UNRWA Regional Youth Ambassador and 2013 winner of the Arab Idol contest, in cooperation with the Permanent Observer Mission of the State of Palestine to the United Nations and the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat.
وفي المقر، نظمت اللجنة اجتماعا خاصا، فضلا عن حفل موسيقي ضم ناي برغوثي وفرقتها، ومحمد عساف، سفير الشباب الإقليمي للأونروا والفائز في مسابقة برنامج محبوب العرب (Arab Idol)، وذلك بالتعاون مع بعثة المراقبة الدائمة لدولة فلسطين لدى الأمم المتحدة وإدارة شؤون الإعلام التابعة للأمانة العامة.

OIOS recommended that the Office of the Special Adviser on Africa propose to the Secretary-General a mechanism for the joint production and submission by the Office of the Special Adviser on Africa, ECA and the Department of Public Information of a strategic framework for programme 9 and the workplans related to the programme, in order to strengthen the coordination of NEPAD activities within the Secretariat.

On the occasion of the observance at Headquarters, in addition to a special meeting of the Committee and other activities, a cultural exhibit entitled " A Palestinian Vista " was organized under the auspices of the Committee, in cooperation with the Permanent Observer Mission of Palestine to the United Nations and the Department of Public Information of the Secretariat.
وبمناسبة الاحتفال بهذا اليوم في المقر، وبالإضافة إلى عقد جلسة خاصة باللجنة وأنشطة أخرى، نظم معرض ثقافي تحت عنوان " A Palestinian Vista " (مشهد فلسطيني) تحت رعاية اللجنة، بالتعاون مع بعثة المراقبة الدائمة لفلسطين لدى الأمم المتحدة وإدارة شؤون الإعلام التابعة للأمانة العامة.

To disseminate the message of the Universal Declaration as widely as possible, the Office has implemented an education and information campaign in close cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Department of Public Information of the United Nations Secretariat.
ولنشر رسالة اﻹعلان العالمي على أوسع نطاق ممكن نفذ المكتب حملة تعليمية وإعلامية بالتعاون الوثيق مع منظمة اﻷمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة وإدارة اﻹعلام باﻷمانة العامة لﻷمم المتحدة.
