II. General overview of the status of discussions on forest research of the Intergovernmental Panel on Forests and the Intergovernmental Forum on Forests

1. The multi-year programme of work of the United Nations Forum on Forests calls for a review of the implementation of the proposals for action of the Intergovernmental Panel on Forests (IPF) and the Intergovernmental Forum on Forests (IFF) related to monitoring, assessment and reporting and concepts, terminology and definitions at the fourth session of the Forum.

III. Status of reporting to the Forum: 2002-2010 7.
