The Special Rapporteur on the right to adequate housing, the Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, and the Special Rapporteur on the right to food issued the joint statement, calling on Governments to put the most vulnerable first in their deliberations at the Forum.

30. Morocco is currently discussing with two special procedures the possibility of other such visits in 2013, notably by the Working Group on arbitrary detention and the Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health.

The Committee expresses its concern at reports that the lack of medical care has contributed to the spread of diseases and deaths in custody, as in the cases of Rohingya and the Lao Hmong in immigration detention centres, which were raised by the Special Rapporteur on the question of torture and the Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health.

25. In the above-mentioned resolution, the Council also invited the Office of the High Commissioner, the World Health Organization, the United Nations Population Fund and the Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health to participate in an interactive dialogue on the study in the Council (see annex).

Takes note of the joint statement issued on 17 March 2003 by the Special Rapporteur on adequate housing as a component of the right to an adequate standard of living, the Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health and the Special Rapporteur on the right to food, on the occasion of the Third World Water Forum, held in Kyoto, Japan, in March 2003;
7- تحيط علماً بالبيان المشترك الصادر عن المقرر الخاص المعني بالسكن اللائق كعنصر من عناصر الحق في مستوى معيشي مناسب، والمقرر الخاص المعني بحق كل إنسان في التمتع بأعلى مستوى ممكن من الصحة البدنية والعقلية، والمقرر الخاص المعني بالحق في الغذاء، في 17 آذار/مارس 2003، بمناسبة المنتدى العالمي الثالث للمياه الذي عُقد في كيوتو باليابان في آذار/مارس 2003؛

95. The delegation stressed that Syria was cooperating with the human rights mechanisms, noting that last year, Syria had received visits from the Special Rapporteur on the right to food and the Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, and it would welcome more such visits once the situation returned to normal.

15. Similarly, two special procedure mandate holders have considered the situation of older persons by devoting thematic studies exclusively to their situation, namely the independent expert on the question of human rights and extreme poverty in 2010 (A/HRC/14/31) and the Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health in 2011 (A/HRC/18/37).

5. In addition to the eight special procedures mentioned in the 2005 report of the Secretary-General, two more special rapporteurs have requested invitations to visit the country, namely the Special Rapporteur on the right to education (in April 2006) and the Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health (in May followed by a reminder in July 2006).
