It should be recalled that the ninety-fourth regular session of the Ministerial Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council, held in Riyadh on 13 March 2005 (A/59/761-S/2005/215), among other things, expressed appreciation to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Tripartite Commission for seeking the Kuwaiti and third-country prisoners and missing persons whose fate and whereabouts are still unknown.
