1. Invites Ms. Hampson to update her working paper and to submit a further working paper to the fifty-seventh session of the Sub-Commission and the twenty-third session of the Working Group on Indigenous Populations;

In its resolution 2004/10, the Sub-Commission invited Ms. Hampson to update her working paper and to submit a further working paper to the fiftyseventh session of the Sub-Commission and the twenty-third session of the Working Group on Indigenous Populations.

On the basis of that recommendation, the Executive Director proposes, in keeping with rules 5 and 9 of the rules of procedure of the Governing Council, a provisional agenda, date and venue for the convening of the eighth special session of the Governing Council/Global Ministerial Environment Forum and the twenty-third session of the Governing Council/Global Ministerial Environment Forum.
وبناءً على تلك التوصية، يقترح المدير التنفيذي، تمشياً مع المادتين 5 و9 من النظام الداخلي لمجلس الإدارة، جدول أعمال مؤقت وتاريخ ومكان انعقاد الدورة الاستثنائية الثامنة لمجلس الإدارة/المنتدى البيئي الوزاري العالمي والدورة الثالثة والعشرين لمجلس الإدارة/المنتدى البيئي الوزاري العالمي.

(b) Recommended that the General Conference take note of the approach outlined for the medium-term programme framework taking into account the general orientation contained in document IDB.23/4-PBC.16/5 and the comments made by Member States during the sixteenth session of the Programme and Budget Committee and the twenty-third session of the Industrial Development Board.
(ب) أوصى بأن يحيط المؤتمر العام علما بالنهج المرسوم للاطار البرنامجي المتوسط الأجل، مع مراعاة التوجه العام الوارد في الوثيقة IDB.23/4-PBC.16/5 والتعليقات التي أبدتها الدول الأعضاء أثناء الدورة السادسة عشرة للجنة البرنامج والميزانية والدورة الثالثة والعشرين لمجلس التنمية الصناعية.

It also attended several OHCHR activities, such as the international workshop on " Enhancing cooperation between regional and international mechanisms for the promotion and protection of human rights " and the twenty-third session of the International Coordination Committee of National Human Rights Institutions respectively held in March and May 2010 in Geneva.
وشاركت اللجنة الفرعية أيضاً في أنشطة عدة نظمتها المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان، ومن بينها حلقة العمل الدولية بشأن " تعزيز التعاون بين الآليات الإقليمية والدولية لتعزيز حقوق الإنسان وحمايتها " والدورة الثالثة والعشرين للجنة التنسيق الدولية للمؤسسات الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان، المعقودتين في جنيف في آذار/مارس وأيار/مايو 2010 على التوالي.
