In some cases, law enforcement and immigration procedures have denied the rights and protection of refugees, migrants, and trafficking victims, for instance when trafficked persons have been prosecuted for violations of immigration laws, when migrants have faced arbitrary and collective expulsions, or when refugees have been denied access to asylum systems.
