Welcomes UN General Assembly Resolution No. 53/30 of 23 November 1998 by which it decided that any resolution or decision on the question of equitable representation and on the increase in the membership of the Security Council and related matters, would require the affirmative vote power of at least two thirds of the Members of the General Assembly.
3 - يرحب بقرار الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة رقم 53/30 الصادر في 23 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 1998 والذي يقضي بأن أي قرار بشأن مسألة التمثيل العادل في عضوية مجلس الأمن وزيادة العضوية والأمور المتعلقة بذلك يتطلب التصويت الإيجابي لثلثي أعضاء الجمعية العامة على الأقل؛

In its resolution 53/30, the General Assembly determined that it would not adopt any resolution or decision on the question of equitable representation on and increase in the membership of the Security Council and related matters " without the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the Members of the General Assembly " .
