٧٢- جاءت التعريفات الخاصة بالطفل في التشريع السوري منسجمة في أصولها مع التعريف الوارد في المادة ١ من اتفاقية حقوق الطفل وهي: " كل انسان لم يتجاوز الثامنة عشرة ما لم يبلغ سن الرشد قبل ذلك بموجب القانون المطبق عليه " .
