2.1 Daouia Benaziza was the grandmother of the author, Nedjma Benaziza.
2-1 ضاوية بن عزيزة هـي جدة صاحبـة البلاغ نجمـة بن عزيزة.

Ali Benaziza proposed that he should take his mother's place in order to allow her release. He was arrested by the soldiers but released following an identity check.
وعرض علي بن عزيزة بصورة خاصة أن يحل محل والدته لكي يطلق سراحها فألقى العسكريون القبض عليه ثم أطلقوا سراحه بعد التحقق من هويته.

2.4 In September 1996, the Benaziza family hired an attorney, who filed a complaint against a person or persons unknown for abduction with the Court of Constantine.
