3. Pursuant to article 145 of the Convention and paragraph 2 of this regulation, each contractor shall take necessary measures to prevent, reduce and control pollution and other hazards to the marine environment arising from its activities in the Area as far as reasonably possible using the best technology available to it.
3 - عملا بالمادة 145 من الاتفاقية والفقرة 2 من هذه المادة، يتخذ كل متعاقد التدابير اللازمة لمنع وتخفيف ومكافحة التلوث وغيره من الأخطار التي تتعرض لها البيئة البحرية والناجمة عن الأنشطة المضطلع بها في المنطقة بقدر ما هو ممكن عمليا باستعمال أفضل التكنولوجيات المتاحة له.

3 - عملا بالمادة 145 من الاتفاقية والفقرة 2 من هذا النظام، يتخذ كل متعاقد التدابير اللازمة لمنع أو تخفيف أو مكافحة التلوث وغيره من الأخطار التي تتعرض لها البيئة البحرية والناجمة عن الأنشطة المضطلع بها في المنطقة بالقدر الممكن بصورة معقولة، مستخدما أفضل التكنولوجيات المتاحة له.

5.1 The Contractor shall take necessary measures to prevent, reduce and control pollution and other hazards to the marine environment arising from its activities in the Area as far as reasonably possible using the best technology available to it.
5-1 يتخذ المتعاقد التدابير اللازمة لمنع التلوث وغيره من المخاطر التي قد تنشأ من الأنشطة التي يضطلع بها في المنطقة على البيئة البحرية بقدر ما يكون ذلك ممكنا بشكل معقول باستخدام أفضل التكنولوجيات المتاحة له، وتخفيض هذه المخاطر والحد منها.

5.1 The Contractor shall take necessary measures to prevent, reduce and control pollution and other hazards to the marine environment arising from its activities in the Area as far as reasonably possible using for this purpose the best technology available to it.
5-1 يتخذ المتعاقد التدابير اللازمة لمنع تلوث البيئة البحرية وغيره من المخاطر التي تتعرض لها نتيجة أنشطته في المنطقة، والحد منها والتصدي لها بالقدر الممكن المعقول مستخدما لهذا الغرض أفضل التكنولوجيات المتاحة له.

5.1 The Contractor shall take necessary measures to prevent, reduce and control pollution and other hazards to the marine environment arising from its activities in the Area as far as reasonably possible using for this purpose the best technology available to it.
5-1 يتخذ المتعاقد التدابير اللازمة لمنع التلوث وغيره من المخاطر التي قد تنشأ من الأنشطة التي يضطلع بها في المنطقة على البيئة البحرية بقدر ما يكون ذلك ممكنا بشكل معقول مستخدما لهذا الغرض أفضل التكنولوجيات المتاحة له، وتخفيض هذه المخاطر والحد منها.

Thirdly, the Regulations impose a duty on each contractor to " take necessary measures to prevent, reduce and control pollution and other hazards to the marine environment arising from its activities in the Area as far as reasonably possible using the best technology available to it " .
وثالثا، يفرض النظام واجبا على كل متعاقد يتمثل في " اتخاذ التدابير الضرورية لمنع وخفض ومكافحة التلوث وغيره من الأخطار التي تهدد البيئة البحرية والناشئة من الأنشطة التي يُضطلع بها في المنطقة وذلك على قدر ما هو ممكن بشكل معقول باستخدام أفضل التكنولوجيات المتاحة له().

39. Governments should share information on illicit drug crop assessments with the United Nations International Drug Control Programme and with other Governments in order to increase cooperation to eliminate such cultivation; data collection on illicit cultivation should be based on the best technology available.
٩٣ - ينبغي للحكومات أن تتقاسم المعلومات مع برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة المعني بالمكافحة الدولية للمخدرات ، ومع سائر الحكومات ، بشأن تقديرات المحاصيل المخدرة غير المشروعة من أجل زيادة التعاون الرامي الى القضاء على تلك الزراعة ؛ وينبغي أن تستخدم في جمع المعلومات عن الزراعة غير المشروعة أفضل التكنولوجيات المتاحة .
