Although article 10 suggests that information should be exchanged particularly between States Parties with common borders or located along smuggling routes, good practice is to seek information exchange as widely as possible at the regional and transregional level, so that migrant smugglers are not simply able to relocate smuggling routes to areas where cooperation has not been achieved.
14- وعلى الرغم من أنَّ المادة 10 تقترح أن تتم عمليّة تبادل المعلومات خاصة بين الدول الأطراف التي لها حدود مشتركة أو التي تقع على الدروب التي يُهرّب عبرها المهاجرون، فإنَّ الممارسة الجيِّدة في هذه الحالة تتمثل في السعي إلى تحصيل المعلومات على أوسع نطاق ممكن على الصعيدين الإقليمي وعبر الإقليمي للحيلولة دون نقل المهرّبين دروب التهريب إلى مناطق لا تشملها أنشطة التعاون.

Furthermore, article 11, paragraph 5, of the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism, which was signed by Bahrain at New York on 14 November 2001, states: " The provisions of all extradition treaties and arrangements between States Parties with regard to offences set forth in article 2 shall be deemed to be modified as between States Parties to the extent that they are incompatible with this Convention. "

20. The Meeting of States Parties in 2003 agreed on the value of " the positive effect of cooperation between States Parties with differing legal and constitutional arrangements.
20- أقر اجتماع الدول الأطراف المعقود في عام 2003 أهمية " الأثر الإيجابي للتعاون بين الدول الأطراف ذات الترتيبات القانونية والدستورية المختلفة.

24. 24- ومع أنَّ المادة 10 تقترح أن تتم عمليّة تبادل المعلومات على وجه الخصوص بين الدول الأطراف التي لها حدود مشتركة أو التي تقع على الدروب التي يُهرَّب عبرها المهاجرون، فإنَّ الممارسة الجيِّدة في هذه الحالة تتمثَّل في السعي إلى تبادل المعلومات على أوسع نطاق ممكن على الصعيدين الإقليمي والأقاليمي للحيلولة دون نقل المهرِّبين دروبَ التهريب إلى مناطق لا تشملها أنشطة التعاون.()
