In that context, the Government of Egypt encouraged the convening of an international conference on the links between terrorism and other forms of crime, bringing together law enforcement officials, prosecutors and judges.

Sweden also noted that, without further investigation, a perceived increase in the links between terrorism and other forms of crime could be due to strengthened countermeasures taken by relevant authorities.
وذكرت السويد أيضا، دون استقصاء الأسباب، أن الزيادة الملحوظة في الصلات بين الإرهاب وسائر أشكال الجريمة يمكن إرجاعها إلى اشتداد التدابير المضادة التي اتخذتها السلطات المختصة.

22 - دَعَت الجمعية العامة في قرارها 58/136 الدول الأعضاء إلى موافاة الأمين العام بمعلومات عن طبيعة الصلات بين الإرهاب وسائر أشكال الجريمة بغية زيادة التآزر في تقديم المساعدة التقنية.

Linkages between terrorism and other forms of crime had increased in several countries over the past 10 years, while Comoros, Lebanon and Yemen reported a decrease in that link.

1- دعت الجمعية العامة الدول الأعضاء، في قرارها 58/136 المؤرخ 22 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2003، إلى تزويد الأمين العام بمعلومات عن طبيعة الصلات بين الإرهاب وسائر أشكال الجريمة بغية زيادة التآزر في تقديم المساعدة التقنية.

UNODC is focusing on the nexus between terrorism and other forms of crime and, to that end, it has provided training to more than 500 lawmakers and criminal justice officials from over 80 countries on the provisions of Security Council resolution 1373 (2001).
ويركّز مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة اهتمامه على الرابطة القائمة بين الإرهاب وغيره من أشكال الجريمة. ولبلوغ تلك الغاية، أتاح المكتب التدريب في مجال تطبيق أحكام قرار مجلس الأمن 1373 (2001) لأكثر من 500 شخص من المشرّعين والمسؤولين عن العدالة الجنائية من أكثر من 80 بلدا.

The Meeting recommended that different forms of technical assistance, including legal advisory services and advice on how to enforce legislation and ensure adequate training of relevant personnel, be fostered in order to address more optimally the links between terrorism and other forms of crime and thus enhance synergy and learn from the provision of technical assistance in other areas.
وأوصى الاجتماع بتشجيع مختلف أشكال المساعدة التقنية، بما فيها الخدمات الاستشارية القانونية والمشورة بشأن كيفية إنفاذ التشريعات وضمان التدريب الملائم للموظفين المعنيين، وذلك بغية التصدي على نحو أمثل للصلات القائمة بين الإرهاب وغيره من أشكال الجريمة ومن ثم تعزيز التآزر واستفادة دروس من تقديم المساعدة التنقية في مجالات أخرى.
