1. A regional economic integration organization that is constituted by sovereign States and has competence over certain matters governed by this Convention may similarly sign, ratify, accept, approve or accede to this Convention.
١- يجوز لأي منظمة تكامل اقتصادي إقليمية مؤلّفة من دول ذات سيادة ولها اختصاص في مسائل معيّنة تحكمها هذه الاتفاقية أن توقّع كذلك على هذه الاتفاقية أو تُصدّق عليها أو تقبلها أو تُقرّها أو تنضمَّ إليها.

(j) " Regional economic integration organization " means an organization constituted by sovereign States of a given region which has competence in respect of matters governed by this Convention and has been duly authorized, in accordance with its internal procedures, to sign, ratify, accept, approve or accede to this Convention;
)ي( تعني " منظمة التكامل الاقتصادي اﻹقليمية " منظمة مؤلفة من دول ذات سيادة في منطقة معينة يكون لها اختصاص فيما يتعلق بالمسائل التي تنظمها هذه الاتفاقية والتي تكون مخولة حسب اﻷصول، وفقا ﻹجراءاتها الداخلية، سلطة التوقيع على هذه الاتفاقية أو التصديق عليها أو الموافقة عليها أو الانضمام إليها.

(j) " regional economic integration organization " means an organization constituted by sovereign States of a given region which has competence in respect of matters governed by this Convention and has been duly authorized, in accordance with its internal procedures, to sign, ratify, accept, approve or accede to this Convention;
)ي( يعني مصطلح " منظمة التكامل الاقتصادي الاقليمية " منظمة تتألف من دول ذات سيادة في منطقة معينة لها اختصاص فيما يتعلق بالمسائل التي تنظمها هذه الاتفاقية، ومخوﱠلة حسب اﻷصول، وفقا ﻹجراءاتها الداخلية، سلطة توقيع هذه الاتفاقية أو التصديق عليها أو قبولها أو الموافقة عليها أو الانضمام إليها؛

[2bis alt The European Union, as a regional economic integration organization constituted by sovereign States of a given region to which its member states have transferred competence in respect of matters within the scope of the Platform's work, may also be a Member in the Platform within the scope of such competences and without any participation rights additional to those of European Union member states.
]2 مكررا - صيغة بديلة يجوز أيضا للاتحاد الأوروبي، باعتباره منظمة من منظمات التكامل الاقتصادي الإقليمي المكونة من دول ذات سيادة في منطقة ما، التي تكون الدول الأعضاء فيها قد أحالت إليها الاختصاص المتعلق بالمسائل المندرجة ضمن نطاق عمل المنبر، أن يكون عضوا في المنبر ضمن نطاق هذه الاختصاصات ودون أي حقوق مشاركة أخرى غير تلك التي تتمتع بها الدول الأعضاء في الاتحاد الأوروبي.
