338. On 17 April 2014, the Council was briefed in consultations of the whole by the Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on Myanmar, Vijay Nambiar, on the political and security situation in the country.

1. The estimated requirements of $170,200 relate to ad hoc assignments to be undertaken by the Special Adviser and her staff at the request of the Secretary-General.
