8. Further requests the Secretary-General to take the necessary measures to ensure that United Nations and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation are properly informed and suitably trained so as to enhance their security and effectiveness in accomplishing their functions;

(b) To provide adequate and prompt information concerning the arrest or detention of United Nations and associated personnel and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation;

(f) To ensure the prompt release of United Nations and associated personnel and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation who have been arrested or detained in violation of their immunity, in accordance with the relevant conventions and applicable international humanitarian law;

(g) To adopt appropriate domestic legislation and judicial and administrative measures to ensure that the perpetrators of unlawful acts against United Nations and associated personnel and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation are held accountable for their actions;
(ز) اعتماد تشريعات محلية مناسبة واتخاذ تدابير قضائية وإدارية لضمان خضوع مرتكبي الأفعال غير القانونية ضد موظفي الأمم المتحدة والأفراد المرتبطين بها وغيرهم من الأفراد الذين يقومون بأنشطة في معرض النهوض بولاية مسندة إلى عملية من عمليات الأمم المتحدة للمساءلة عن أفعالهم؛

(a) To submit to the General Assembly at its fifty-second session a report on the situation of United Nations and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation who are imprisoned, missing or held in a country against their will, on new cases that have been successfully settled and on the implementation of the measures referred to in Commission resolution 1997/25;
)أ( أن يقدم إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثانية والخمسين تقريرا عن حالة المسجونين أو المفقودين أو المحتجزين في بلد ما ضد إرادتهم من موظفي اﻷمم المتحدة وغيرهم من العاملين الذين يقومون بأنشطة في النهوض بولاية مسندة إلى عملية من عمليات اﻷمم المتحدة، وعن الحالات الجديدة التي سويت بنجاح، وعن تنفيذ التدابير المشار إليها في قرار اللجنة ٧٩٩١/٥٢؛

(a) To respect and ensure respect for the rights of United Nations and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation and to take the necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of those personnel as well as the inviolability of United Nations premises which are essential to the continuation and successful implementation of United Nations operations;
)أ( احترام وتأمين احترام حقوق موظفي اﻷمم المتحدة وغيرهم من العاملين الذين يقومون بأنشطة في النهوض بولاية مسندة إلى عملية من عمليات اﻷمم المتحدة، واتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لتأمين سلامة وأمن هؤلاء الموظفين والعاملين، فضلاً عن صون حرمة أماكن اﻷمم المتحدة، وهي أمور جوهرية لاستمرار عمليات اﻷمم المتحدة وتنفيذها بنجاح؛

(a) To take the necessary measures to ensure full respect for the human rights, privileges and immunities of United Nations and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation and, when those human rights, privileges and immunities are violated, to ensure that such personnel are restored to their organization, and, where appropriate, to seek redress and compensation for the damage caused to them;
)أ( أن يتخذ التدابير اللازمة لتأمين الاحترام التام لحقوق اﻹنسان والامتيازات والحصانات التي يتمتع بها موظفو اﻷمم المتحدة وغيرهم من العاملين الذين يقومون بأنشطة في النهوض بولاية مسندة إلى عملية من عمليات اﻷمم المتحدة، وأن يكفل، عندما تنتهك حقوق اﻹنسان والامتيازات والحصانات هذه، إعادة هؤلاء الموظفين والعاملين إلى منظمتهم، وأن يلتمس عند الاقتضاء الجبر والتعويض عن اﻷضرار التي لحقت بهم؛

(a) To respect and ensure respect for the rights of United Nations and associated personnel and other personnel carrying out activities in fulfilment of the mandate of a United Nations operation and to take the necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of those personnel as well as the inviolability of United Nations premises which are essential to the continuation and successful implementation of United Nations operations;
(أ) احترام وضمان احترام حقوق موظفي الأمم المتحدة والأفراد المرتبطين بها وغيرهم من الأفراد الذي يقومون بأنشطة في معرض النهوض بولاية مسندة إلى عملية من عمليات الأمم المتحدة، واتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لضمان سلامة وأمن هؤلاء الموظفين والأفراد، فضلاً عن صون حرمة الأماكن التابعة للأمم المتحدة، وهي أمور لا بد منها لاستمرار عمليات الأمم المتحدة وتنفيذها بنجاح؛

In accordance with Security Council resolutions 1455 (2003) and 1526 (2004), it had taken extensive measures to prevent individuals and entities associated with Al-Qaida and the Taliban from carrying out activities in the territory of Kazakhstan.
وطبقا لقراري مجلس الأمن 1455 (2003) 1526 (2004) فقد اتخذت تدابير واسعة لمنع الأفراد والكيانات المرتبطين بالقاعدة وطالبان من تنفيذ أنشطة في إقليم كازاخستان.

Thereafter, in accordance with regulation 17(1) of the Regulations, the Secretary-General on 11 April 2008 forwarded such notification to the Enterprise (represented by its Interim Director-General), whereupon the Interim Director-General informed the Secretary-General in writing that the Enterprise had no current intention of carrying out activities in the areas under application.

٧ - تطلب أيضا إلى اﻷمين العام أن يتخذ التدابير اللازمة، التي تقع في نطاق مسؤولياته، لضمان أن تكون المسائل اﻷمنية جزءا لا يتجزأ من التخطيط ﻷي عملية، وأن تشمل هذه الاحتياطات جميع موظفي اﻷمم المتحدة وغيرهم من اﻷفراد المرتبطين بها الذين يضطلعون بأنشطة على سبيل الوفاء بولاية إحدى عمليات اﻷمم المتحدة؛

115. The Special Representative reiterates the appeal made in the past to all organizations which cooperate with Equatorial Guinea and to multinational corporations which are carrying out activities in the country to bring their programmes and activities into line with the recommendations of the Commission, through its Special Representative and the Office of the High Commissioner.
