3.3 The author submits that he has been subjected to the deplorable conditions of detention at St. Catherine District Prison.

8.2 With regard to the author's allegation that he was ill-treated the Committee considers that there are two separate issues, the ill-treatment the author suffered during pre-trial detention and later at St. Catherine District Prison.
٨-٢ أما عن ادعاء الشاكي بسوء المعاملة الذي تعرض له فاللجنة ترى أن أمامها قضيتين منفصلتين، سوء المعاملة الذي تعرض له الشاكي في فترة الاحتجاز قبل المحاكمة ثم فــي سجن دائـرة سانت كاترين.

With regard to the author's alleged ill-treatment at St. Catherine District Prison, the Committee notes that the author has made very precise allegations, which he documented in complaints to the Parliamentary Ombudsman of Jamaica and to the Jamaica Council for Human Rights.
