I believe it is also important to recall the idea expressed by the representative of Argentina, Chairperson of Working Group II: the need to keep the momentum and to continue our debates and discussions in some form so that we do not allow the importance of these matters to diminish, especially in the light of all the hard work we have done in the sphere of disarmament.
وأعتقد أنه من المهم أيضا أن أذكـِّـر بالفكرة التي عبـَّـر عنها ممثل الأرجنتين، رئيس الفريق العامل الثاني: وهي الحاجة إلى المحافظة على العزم ومواصلة مناقشاتنا لئـلا ننقـص مـن أهمية هذه المسائل، لا سيما في ضوء كل ما قمنا به من عمل مضني في نطاق عملية نزع السلاح.

With regard to confidence-building measures in the field of conventional arms, Brazil appreciates the work that has been done since last year by the Chairperson of Working Group II. We believe that the Chairperson's paper presented last session was a genuine effort of compilation that provided an excellent basis for discussion.
