5. The Department of Public Information, pursuant to paragraph 8 (d) of resolution 64/91, continued to ensure the widest circulation of the reports of the Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Practices Affecting the Human Rights of the Palestinian People and Other Arabs of the Occupied Territories by using the means of dissemination at its disposal.
5 - واصلت إدارة شؤون الإعلام، وفقا للفقرة 8 (د) " من القرار 64/91، العمل على كفالة توزيع تقارير اللجنة الخاصة المعنية بالتحقيق في الممارسات الإسرائيلية التي تمس حقوق الإنسان للشعب الفلسطيني وغيره من السكان العرب في الأراضي المحتلة، على أوسع نطاق ممكن بالاستعانة بوسائل النشر الموجودة تحت تصرفها.

The Secretariat communicates with an official contact point of a party on such official issues as notices regarding participation in meetings of the Conference of the Parties, circulation of the reports of such meetings, proposals for the addition of chemicals to Annex III of the Convention and for inclusion in the PIC procedure, and the nominations of experts to such subsidiary bodies as the Chemical Review Committee.

24. At its sixth plenary meeting, on 6 May 1999, the Meeting agreed that the content of the President’s Paper on Circulation of Article 7 Reports as amended (APLC/MSP.1/1999/Informal 3/Rev.1) should guide the technical ways and means of circulation of the reports.
24- وفي الجلسة العامة السادسة المعقودة في 6 أيار/مايو 1999، اتفق الاجتماع على أن تسترشد الطرق والوسائل التقنية لتعميم التقارير بمضمون ورقة الرئيس المتعلقة بتعميم التقارير المقدمة بموجب المادة 7 بصيغتها المعدلة (APLC/MSP.1/1999/Informal 3/Rev.1).
