1. The General Assembly, in its resolution 65/289, requested the Secretary-General to provide, on an annual basis and in a consolidated manner, information on financial and human resources provided by client missions to the Regional Service Centre in Entebbe.

Thirty-nine posts were approved for transfer from the client missions to the Regional Service Centre in 2011/12 and 160 posts in 2012/13.

To consolidate administrative and support functions for geographically grouped field missions, and to achieve scale economies and other efficiencies, 160 posts were approved to be transferred from client missions to the Regional Service Centre in 2012/13 and 113 posts in 2013/14.

11. The variance resulted from the fact that only part of the costs incurred by the client missions in relation to their national staff deployed to the Regional Service Centre could be identified, due to the changes in post management during the transfer of posts from the client missions to the Regional Service Centre.
11 - يعزى الفرق إلى عدم إمكانية تحديد سوى جزء من التكاليف التي تكبدتها البعثات المستفيدة فيما يتعلق بموظفيها الوطنيين الموفدين إلى مركز الخدمات الإقليمي، بسبب التغييرات التي حدثت في إدارة الوظائف أثناء نقل الوظائف من البعثات المستفيدة إلى مركز الخدمات الإقليمي.

(e) Working procedures are not yet standardized and streamlined at the Regional Service Centre. The transfer of functions from client missions to the Regional Service Centre is expected to enable integrated service delivery and achievement of economies of scale by providing standardized services.
(هـ) عدم توحيد وتبسيط إجراءات العمل حتى الآن في مركز الخدمات الإقليمي - يُتوقع أن يساهم نقل المهام من البعثات المستفيدة إلى مركز الخدمات الإقليمي في تيسير تقديم خدمات متكاملة وتحقيق وفورات الحجم عن طريق توفير خدمات موحدة.

In accordance with section VII, paragraph 91, of resolution 65/289, consolidated information on the financial and human resources provided by client missions to the Regional Service Centre and on the shares of the resource requirements for the individual client missions will be provided in their respective budget proposals.

واستجابة لطلب الجمعية الوارد في الفقرة 91 من قرارها 65/289 من أجل توفير معلومات موحدة عن الموارد المالية والبشرية المقدمة من البعثات المتلقية للخدمات إلى مركز الخدمات الإقليمي في عنتيبي، قدم الأمين العام أيضا إضافة إلى التقرير المرحلي (A/66/591/Add.1).
