41. Since the end of the Cambodian conflict in 1991, Cambodia has held four general elections (in 1993, 1998, 2003 and 2008) and two Commune Council elections (in 2002 and 2007).

59. OHCHR/Cambodia carries out a number of activities in connection with the Commune Council elections.
