Under article 20 (paras. 1 and 2), if the Committee receives reliable information which appears to it to contain well-founded indications that torture is being systematically practised in the territory of a State party, the Committee shall invite that State party to cooperate in the examination of the information and to this end to submit observations with regard to the information concerned.

In accordance with article 20, paragraph 1, of the Convention, if the Committee receives reliable information which appears to it to contain well-founded indications that torture is being systematically practised in the territory of a State party, the Committee shall invite that State party to cooperate in the examination of the information and, to that end, to submit observations with regard to the information concerned.

If the Committee receives reliable information indicating grave or systematic violations by a State Party of rights set forth in the Convention, the Committee shall invite that State Party to cooperate in the examination of the information and to this end to submit observations with regard to the information concerned.
" ١ - إذا تلقت اللجنة معلومات موثوقة تدل على وقوع انتهاك خطير أو منتظم من جانب دولة طرف للحقوق المنصوص عليها في الاتفاقية، دعت اللجنة الدولة الطرف إلى أن تتعاون في فحص هذه المعلومات وتقدم لهذا الغرض ملاحظات بشأن المعلومات المعنية.

In accordance with article 20, paragraph 1, of the Convention and rule 82 of its rules of procedure (CAT/C/3/Rev.5), the Committee decided to invite the State party to cooperate in the examination of the information and to submit observations in that regard.
