49. At its 4th meeting, on 1 July, the forum held a dialogue on the ideas and trends that can shape the lives of present and future generations, chaired by the Vice-President of the Council, Ibrahim Dabbashi (Libya), who made an opening statement.

36 - السيد الدباشي (ليبيا): رأى في تخفيض بعض الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية لترساناتها خطوة إيجابية، لكنه لم ير فيه انعكاسا للالتزام بالنزع الكامل للسلاح بقدر يكفي لتشجيع الدول الأخرى الحائزة للأسلحة النووية على اتخاذ تدابير مماثلة.
