1. Paragraph 13 of the decision on principles and objectives states that nuclear fissile material transferred from military use to peaceful nuclear activities should, as soon as practicable, be placed under Agency safeguards in the framework of the voluntary safeguards agreements in place with the nuclear-weapon States.
1 - تنصّ الفقرة 13 من المقرّر المتعلق بالمبادئ والأهداف على أنه، إذا حُولت مواد انشطارية نووية من الاستخدام العسكري إلى الأنشطة النووية السلمية، ينبغي القيام في أقرب وقت ممكن عمليا بإخضاعها لضمانات الوكالة في إطار اتفاقات الضمانات الطوعية المعمول بها مع الدول الحائزة للأسلحة النووية.

Principle 8 of the decision on principles and objectives stipulated that " further steps should be considered to assure non-nuclear-weapons States Parties to the Treaty against the use or threat of use of nuclear weapons.

The States parties of the NPT of G-21 are deeply concerned that such developments run counter to the decisions adopted at the 1995 NPT review and extension Conference, in particular, the decision on'Principles and objectives for nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament'and jeopardizes the credibility of the NTP regime.
إن دول مجموعة اﻟ ١٢ اﻷطراف في معاهدة عدم الانتشار تشعر ببالغ القلق من أن هذه التطورات تتعارض مع المقررات المعتمدة في مؤتمر عام ٥٩٩١ لاستعراض وتمديد معاهدة عدم الانتشار، لا سيما المقرر بشأن `مبادئ وأهداف عدم الانتشار النووي ونزع السلاح النووي`، وتُعَرﱢض للخطر مصداقية نظام معاهدة عدم الانتشار.

The decision of the Nuclear Suppliers Group, which has been taken under pressure from the United States, is also a violation of the commitment of the nuclear-weapon States under the decision on principles and objectives of the 1995 Review and Extension Conference of the Treaty and the Final Document of the 2000 Review Conference for promoting universalization of the Treaty.

٦٥ - إن المقرر المتعلق بالمبادئ والأهداف التي سيعتمدها مؤتمر استعراض المعاهدة عام ٠٠٠٢ ينبغي أن يتضمن إعلان التزام جميع الدول بهدف القضاء على الأسلحة النووية تماما.
