In the area of countering money- laundering, the Assembly, in section II of that resolution, urged States to strengthen action, in particular international cooperation and technical assistance aimed at preventing and combating the laundering of proceeds derived from drug trafficking and related criminal activities.

16. The following recommendations were made with regard to measures to amend legislation, agency practices and procedures that may improve the responses of national authorities to challenges posed by drug trafficking and related organized criminal offences:
16- قُدِّمت التوصيات التالية بخصوص التدابير اللازمة لتعديل التشريعات وممارسات الأجهزة والإجراءات بما قد يحسِّن من تصدِّي السلطات الوطنية لتحديات الاتجار بالمخدِّرات وما يتصل به من جرائم منظَّمة:

Located between the regions known as the Golden Crescent and the Golden Triangle, South Asian countries are directly affected by drug trafficking and related money-laundering, corruption and production of precursor chemicals.
45- بلدان جنوبي آسيا، التي تقع بين المنطقتين المعروفتين باسم الهلال الذهبي والمثلث الذهبي، تتأثر مباشرة بالاتجار بالمخدرات وما يتصل به من غسل للأموال وفساد وانتاج للكيماويات السليفة.

(g) To adopt measures to strengthen coordination within the United Nations system in the fight against drug trafficking and related organized crime, against terrorist groups engaged in drug trafficking and against illicit arms trade;
)ز( اعتماد تدابير لتعزيز التنسيق في إطار منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة في مجال مكافحة الاتجار في المخدرات وما يتصل به من أنشطة الجريمة المنظمة ومكافحة الجماعات الارهابية الضالعة بالاتجار في المخدرات، وكذلك مكافحة التجارة غير المشروعة في اﻷسلحة؛

These objectives will be met by examining nine specific challenges presented by drug trafficking and related organized criminal activities, and how current and proposed responses hold promise for the prevention and control of these serious criminal enterprises across the world.
وستتحقَّق هذه الأهداف بدراسة تسعة تحديات محددة تطرحها أنشطة الاتجار بالمخدرات وما يتصل بها من أنشطة إجرامية منظّمة، وبحث الكيفية التي تبشِّر بها تدابير التصدي الحالية والمقترحة بالخير فيما يخص منع ومكافحة هذه المنظمات الإجرامية الخطيرة في أنحاء العالم كافة.

The Committee recommends that the State party take the necessary measures to combat drug trafficking and related corruption.
توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بأن تتخـذ التدابير اللازمـة لمكافحة الاتِّجار بالمخدرات وما يتصل به من فساد.

A joint declaration on cooperation and coordination of drug control and related criminal activities was adopted outlining the establishment of mechanisms to facilitate cooperation and coordination of initiatives to combat drug trafficking and related criminal activities and on measures to strengthen cross-border cooperation and control.
واعتمد إعلان مشترك بشأن التعاون والتنسيق في مجال مكافحة المخدرات وما يتصل بها من الأنشطة الإجرامية نص على إنشاء آليات لتيسير التعاون وتنسيق المبادرات الرامية إلى مكافحة الاتجار بالمخدرات وما يتصل بذلك من الأنشطة الإجرامية وعلى تدابير لتعزيز التعاون والمراقبة عبر الحدود.
