Recalling in particular article 31 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which outlines the right of the child to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to the age of the child,
وإذ يشير بصفة خاصة إلى المادة 31 من اتفاقية حقوق الطفل التي تبيّن حق الطفل في اللعب وفي الأنشطة الترفيهية المناسبة لسنه،

1. Encourages States to take specific measures to respect, protect, promote and fulfil the right of the child to engage in play and recreational activities, and in particular:
1- يشجع الدول على اتخاذ تدابير محددة من أجل احترام حق الطفل في اللعب وفي الأنشطة الترفيهية، وحماية هذا الحق وتعزيزه وإعماله، وبخاصة ما يلي:

Recalling in particular article 31 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which outlines the right of the child to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to the age of the child,
وإذ يشير بصفة خاصة إلى المادة 31 من اتفاقية حقوق الطفل التي تبيّن حق الطفل في اللعب وممارسة الأنشطة الترفيهية المناسبة لسنه،

1. Encourages States to take specific measures to respect, protect, promote and fulfil the right of the child to engage in play and recreational activities, and in particular:
1- يشجع الدول على اتخاذ تدابير محددة من أجل احترام حق الطفل في اللعب وممارسة الأنشطة الترفيهية، وحماية هذا الحق وتعزيزه وإعماله، وبخاصة ما يلي:

Both the right of children to engage in play and recreation and their fundamental importance of those activities for children's well-being, health and development are poorly understood and undervalued.
ولا يحظى حق الأطفال في المشاركة في اللعب والاستجمام، والأهمية الأساسية لهذين النشاطين لرفاه الأطفال وصحتهم ونموهم، بما يستحقانه من الفهم والتقدير.

The Committee further recommends that the State party seek to ensure the right of the child to rest and leisure and to engage in play and recreational activities.
وتوصي اللجنة أيضا بأن تعمل الدولة الطرف على ضمان حق الطفل في الراحة والتمتع بأوقات الفراغ والمشاركة في اللعب والأنشطة الترفيهية.

577. The Committee notes with concern that the State party has not given adequate consideration to the rights of children to rest and leisure, to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to their age and to participate freely in cultural life and the arts.
577- تلاحظ اللجنة بقلق أن الدولة الطرف لم تعر الاهتمام الكافي لحقوق الطفل في الراحة والترفيه والمشاركة في اللعب والأنشطة الترفيهية المناسبة لسنه وحرية المشاركة في الحياة الثقافية والفنية.

3. Further encourages States to take active measures to restore and protect the right of the child to engage in play and recreational activities in forced displacement, post-conflict and disaster situations, with a view to promoting resilience and psychological healing;
3- يشجع الدول كذلك على اتخاذ تدابير فاعلة لاسترداد وحماية حق الطفل في اللعب وممارسة الأنشطة الترفيهية في أوضاع التشريد القسري وما بعد النزاعات والكوارث، بغية تعزيز قدرته على التكيف والتعافي النفسي؛

5. Recommends that the celebration of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace emphasize, through specific events, the right of the child to engage in play and recreational activities.
5- يوصي بأن يشدد الاحتفال باليوم الدولي للرياضة من أجل التنمية والسلام، عن طريق تظاهرات محددة، على حق الطفل في اللعب وممارسة الأنشطة الترفيهية.

(h) To address social norms that attach low value to the right to engage in play and recreational activities by raising public awareness of its significance;
(ح) التصدي للأعراف الاجتماعية التي تقلل من قيمة الحق في اللعب وفي الأنشطة الترفيهية عن طريق التوعية بأهمية هذا الحق؛

3. Further encourages States to take active measures to restore and protect the right of the child to engage in play and recreational activities in forced displacement, post-conflict and disaster situations, with a view to promoting resilience and psychological healing;
3- يشجع الدول كذلك على اتخاذ تدابير فاعلة لاسترداد وحماية حق الطفل في اللعب وفي الأنشطة الترفيهية في حالات التشريد القسري وحالات ما بعد النزاع والكوارث، بغية تعزيز قدرته على التكيف والتعافي النفسي؛

5. Recommends that the celebration of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace emphasize, through specific events, the right of the child to engage in play and recreational activities.
5- يوصي بأن يشدد الاحتفال باليوم الدولي للرياضة من أجل التنمية والسلام، عن طريق تظاهرات محددة، على حق الطفل في اللعب وفي الأنشطة الترفيهية.

290. The Committee is concerned that - for various reasons, including the lack of spaces for recreational activities for children - children's right to rest and leisure and to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to their age is not being fully respected.
290- وتشعر اللجنة بالقلق لأن حق الأطفال في الراحة والترفيه والمشاركة في اللعب والأنشطة الترفيهية المناسبة لعمرهم لا يحظى بالاحترام التام وذلك لأسباب مختلفة من بينها الافتقار إلى أماكن للأنشطة الترفيهية للأطفال.

722. The Committee notes with concern that according to the State party inadequate consideration is given to the rights of children to rest and leisure, to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to their age, and to participate freely in cultural life and the arts.
722- تلاحظ اللجنة بقلق إقرار الدولة الطرف بعدم إيلاء اهتمامٍ كافٍ لحقوق الأطفال في الراحة والأنشطة الترفيهية للمشاركة في اللعب والأنشطة الترويحية المناسبة لأعمارهم، والمشاركة بحرية في الحياة الثقافية والفنون.
