The first of these instruments is the Declaration on the enhancement of cooperation between the United Nations and Regional Arrangements or Agencies in the Maintenance of International Peace and Security.
وأول هذه الصكوك هو اﻹعلان بشأن تعزيز التعاون بين اﻷمم المتحدة والترتيبات أو الوكالات الاقليمية في مجال حفظ السلم واﻷمن الدوليين.

At its current session the Committee had produced timely and significant work on the draft declaration on the enhancement of cooperation between the United Nations and regional arrangements or agencies in the maintenance of international peace and security.

My delegation supports the draft resolution introduced by the delegation of Burkina Faso, which calls for the enhancement of cooperation between the United Nations and the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
ويؤيـــد وفــدي مشروع القــرار الـذي عرضه وفد بوركينا فاصو والذي يدعو إلى تعزيز التعاون بين اﻷمم المتحدة ومنظمة المؤتمر اﻹسلامي.

In view of all this, my delegation supports the draft resolution presented by the State of Qatar, which calls for the enhancement of cooperation between the United Nations and the OIC.

It completed the elaboration of a draft declaration on the enhancement of cooperation between the United Nations and regional arrangements or agencies in the maintenance of international peace and security, which is before the General Assembly for consideration and adoption at its forty-ninth session.
وقد استكملت وضع مشروع إعلان بشأن تعزيز التعاون بين اﻷمم المتحدة والترتيبات أو الوكالات اﻹقليمية للمحافظة على السلم واﻷمن الدوليين، معروض على الجمعية العامة كي تنظر فيه وتعتمده في دورتها التاسعة واﻷربعين.

9. Mr. MWANGI (Kenya) welcomed the adoption by the Special Committee of the draft declaration on the enhancement of cooperation between the United Nations and regional arrangements or agencies in the maintenance of international peace and security.

In that regard, his delegation applauded the Special Committee's remarkable achievement in adopting a draft declaration on the enhancement of cooperation between the United Nations and regional arrangements or agencies.

An important achievement was the elaboration of the draft declaration on the enhancement of cooperation between the United Nations and regional arrangements or agencies in the maintenance of international peace and security.
٦٨ - وما يتسم بأهمية كبرى في هذا الصدد، هو صياغة مشروع الاعلان المتعلق بتعزيز التعاون بين اﻷمم المتحدة والتنظيمات أو الوكالات الاقليمية لصون السلم واﻷمن الدوليين.

He hoped that the Sixth Committee would adopt by consensus the draft declaration on the enhancement of cooperation between the United Nations and regional arrangements or agencies in the maintenance of international peace and security.

While his delegation shared those concerns, it believed that in recent years the Special Committee had achieved important results, in particular, in the areas of the peaceful settlement of disputes and the enhancement of cooperation between the United Nations and regional organizations.
