9. The Meeting of the States Parties decided, as contained in paragraph 33 of CCW/MSP/2005/2, that the President-designate shall undertake consultations during the intersessional period on the possibility to establish a sponsorship programme under the Convention and on the modalities of such a sponsorship programme, and shall report to the High Contracting Parties.
9- وقرر واضعاً الدول الأطراف، على نحو ما يرد في الفقرة 33 من الوثيقة CCW/MSP/2005/2 أن يجري الرئيس المختار مشاورات خلال فترة ما بين الدورات بشأن إمكانية وضع برنامج رعاية بموجب الاتفاقية وبشأن كيفية تطبيق هذا البرنامج، وأن يقدم تقريراً عن ذلك إلى الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية.

28. The Group of Governmental Experts recommended that the President-designate shall undertake consultations during the intersessional period on the possibility to establish a sponsorship programme under the Convention and the modalities of such a programme, and shall report to the States Parties.
28- وأوصى فريق الخبراء الحكوميين بأن يجري الرئيس المُعيَّن مشاورات خلال الفترة الفاصلة بين الدورات بشأن إمكانية وضع برنامج رعاية بموجب الاتفاقية وأساليب تشغيل هذا البرنامج وأن يقدم تقريرا إلى الدول الأطراف.

33. Following the recommendations of the Group of Governmental Experts, as contained in paragraph 28 of CCW/GGE/XII/4, the Meeting of the States Parties decided that the President-designate shall undertake consultations during the intersessional period on the possibility to establish a sponsorship programme under the Convention and on the modalities of such a sponsorship programme, and shall report to the States Parties.
33- وبناء على توصيات فريق الخبراء الحكوميين، كما وردت في الفقرة 28 من الوثيقة CCW/GGE/XII/4، قرر اجتماع الدول الأطراف أن يجري الرئيس المختار مشاورات خلال فترة ما بين الدورات بشأن إمكانية وضع برنامج رعاية بموجب الاتفاقية وبشأن أساليب تشغيل هذا البرنامج، وأن يقدم تقريراً عن ذلك إلى الدول الأطراف.

26. Mr. PRASAD (India) said that he welcomed the fact that the Conference had reached consensus on a final document and had been able to adopt a plan of action to promote universality of the Convention and to establish a sponsorship programme and a compliance mechanism.
26- السيد براساد (الهند) لاحظ بارتياح أن المؤتمر توصل إلى توافق في الآراء فيما يتعلق بالوثيقة الختامية وأنه تمكن من اعتماد خطة عمل ترمي إلى تعزيز عالمية الاتفاقية، فضلاً عن إنشاء برنامج للرعاية وآلية للامتثال للأحكام.
