Following the JIU recommendations, a number of key decisions were already made at the November 2008 United Nations common services retreat in Kenya, including revising the Common Services Governance Framework; establishing an ICT working group, as well as a monitoring and evaluation committee; and raising the need for agreement on the draft memorandum of understanding regarding common premises services at the Executive Services Management Board.
