Notes the insufficient level of collaboration between the Department of Political Affairs, the Department of Peacekeeping Operations and the Department of Field Support, of the Secretariat, with respect to special political missions, and requests the Secretary-General to ensure systemic cooperation so as to prevent duplication among the three departments;

10 - تؤكد ضرورة أن يكفل الأمين العام التقيد الدقيق، لدى تفويض السلطة لإدارة عمليات حفظ السلام وإدارة الدعم الميداني في الأمانة العامة وللبعثات الميدانية، بأحكام القرارات والمقررات المتخذة في هذا الصدد وبالقواعد والإجراءات التي حددتها الجمعية العامة فيما يتعلق بهذه المسألة؛

30. Further, the Department of Field Support of the Secretariat has led an initiative to establish a portfolio of resource efficiency projects aimed at improving resource management and reporting for field-based special political missions.

Also emphasizes the significant efforts made by the Department of Peacekeeping Operations and the Department of Field Support of the Secretariat to ensure that their requirements under the support account are properly aligned to effective and efficient mandate implementation, and calls upon all departments with posts and positions under the support account to intensify their efforts in this regard;
