50. The General Assembly, in its resolution 53/107, requested the Secretary-General to seek the views of, inter alia, organizations of the United Nations system regarding the report of the expert group meeting on developing a methodology for assessing the consequences incurred by third States as a result of preventive or enforcement measures and on exploring innovative and practical measures of international assistance to affected States.
