Noting the statement by the President of the fortieth regular session of the General Conference of the Agency, issued under item 23 concerning the application of Agency safeguards in the Middle East, that:
وإذ تحيط علما بالبيان الذي أدلى به رئيس الدورة العادية اﻷربعين للمؤتمر العام للوكالة، الصادر في إطار البند ٢٣ المتعلق بتطبيق ضمانات الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية في الشرق اﻷوسط، بأن:

THE SITUATION PREVAILING WITH REGARD TO SAFEGUARDS IMPLEMENTATION IN THE DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF KOREA AT THE TIME OF THE fortieth regular SESSION OF THE GENERAL CONFERENCE

3. Takes note of resolution GC(40)RES/22, adopted on 20 September 1996 by the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency at its fortieth regular session, concerning the application of Agency safeguards in the Middle East;
٣ - تحيط علما بالقرار GC(40)/RES/22 الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية في ٢٠ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٦ في دورته العادية اﻷربعين بشأن تطبيق ضمانات الوكالة في الشرق اﻷوسط؛

At its fortieth regular meeting, the Committee adopted the report on its work during the intersessional period.
11 - اعتمدت اللجنة في اجتماعها العادي الأربعين تقريرها عن أعمالها في فترة ما بين الدورات.

Noting the statement by the President of the fortieth regular session of the General Conference of the Agency, issued under item 19(b) concerning the composition of regional groups, that:
وإذ تحيط علما بالبيان الذي أدلى به رئيس الدورة العادية اﻷربعين للمؤتمر العام للوكالة، الصادر في إطار البند ١٩ )ب( المتعلق بتكوين المجموعات اﻹقليمية، بأن:

" to include in the agenda for its fortieth regular session an item entitled'Implementation of the agreement between the Agency and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea for the application of safeguards in connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons' " .
" إدراج بند معنون ' تنفيذ الاتفاق المعقود بين الوكالة وجمهورية كوريا الشعبية الديمقراطية لتطبيق الضمانات في إطار معاهدة عدم انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية ' في جدول أعمال دورته العادية اﻷربعين " .

9. Requests the Director General to submit to the Board of Governors and to the General Conference at its fortieth regular session a report on the implementation of this resolution and to include in the provisional agenda for that session an item entitled " Application of IAEA safeguards in the Middle East " .
٩ - ويطلب من المدير العام أن يقدم لمجلس المحافظين وللمؤتمر العام في دورته العادية اﻷربعين تقريرا عن تنفيذ هذا القرار، وأن يدرج في جدول اﻷعمال المؤقت لتلك الدورة بندا عنوانه " تطبيق ضمانات الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية في الشرق اﻷوسط " .

I enclose a copy of my written report (GC(40)/16 of 20 August 1996) about the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the fortieth regular session of the General Conference of IAEA and attach a copy of resolution GC(40)/RES/4, which the General Conference adopted on 20 September 1996.
وأرفــق طيــه نسخــة مــن تقريــري الخطــي )GC(40)/16، المــؤرخ ٠٢ آب/أغسطس ٦٩٩١( بشأن جمهوريــة كوريــا الشعبيــة الديمقراطية المقدم إلى الدورة العادية اﻷربعين للمؤتمر العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية وأرفق نسخة من القرار GC(40)/RES/4 الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام في ٠٢ أيلول/سبتمبر ٦٩٩١.

At its fortieth regular meeting, held on 2 March 2011, the Committee of Permanent Representatives to the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) adopted its intersessional report for the period 2009 - 2011, which it hereby submits to the Governing Council at its twenty-third session for its consideration.
اعتمدت لجنة الممثلين الدائمين لدى برنامج الأمم للمستوطنات البشرية (موئل الأمم المتحدة)، في اجتماعها العادي الأربعين المعقود في 2 آذار/مارس 2011، تقريرها لفترة ما بين الدورات الممتدة من 2009 إلى 2011 وهي بهذا تقدمه إلى مجلس الإدارة في دورته الثالثة والعشرين للنظر فيه.
