According to information received from relevant authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at sunset on 4 July 2005 an alien unmanned aerial vehicle crashed 60 kilometres inside Iranian territory (in Ilam Province).

10. 10- تطلب إلى الدول التي تلقت طلب تسليم بناء على تهمة عقوبتها الإعدام أن تحتفظ صراحة بالحق في رفض التسليم ما لم توجد ضمانات فعلية من السلطات المختصة للدولة الطالبة بأن عقوبة الإعدام لن تنفذ، وتهيب بالدول أن تقدم هذه الضمانات الفعلية إن طُلب إليها ذلك وأن تحترمها؛

68. States that have received an extradition request on a capital charge should reserve explicitly the right to refuse extradition in the absence of effective and credible assurances from relevant authorities of the requesting State that the death penalty will not be carried out.
٦٨ - وينبغي للدول التي تلقت طلب تسليـم مجرمين بناء على تهمة يعاقب عليها بالإعدام أن تحتفظ صراحة بالحق في رفض تسليمهم ما لم تحصل على ضمانات فعالة وذات موثوقية من السلطات المختصة للدولة الطالبة بأن عقوبة الإعدام لن تُنّفذ فيهم.

Recalling also Commission on Human Rights resolution 2002/77 of 25 April 2002 and noting resolution 2003/67 of 24 April 2003, in which the Commission requested that States reserve explicitly the right to refuse extradition upon a request for extradition on a capital charge in the absence of effective assurances from relevant authorities of the requesting State that capital punishment will not be carried out,
وإذ تشير أيضاً إلى قرار لجنة حقوق الإنسان 2002/77 المؤرخ 25 نيسان/أبريل 2002، وإذ تحيط علما بالقرار 2003/67 المؤرخ 24 نيسان/أبريل 2003 الذي طلبت فيه اللجنة إلى الدول التي تلقت طلب تسليم بناء على تهمة عقوبتها الإعدام أن تحتفظ لنفسها رسمياً بالحق في رفض التسليم ما لم تحصل على تأكيدات فعلية من السلطات المختصة للدولة الطالبة بأن عقوبة الإعدام لن تنفذ،

According to the information received from relevant authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Thursday 9 Farvardin 1386 (29 March 2007) at 10.30 a.m., the British military forces, in four armoured vehicles and with full military equipment, approached the premises of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Basra, Iraq, and fired shots at the building for more than 10 minutes.
