4. On 9 January 2014, the Secretary-General received an offer from the Government of Austria to host the second United Nations conference on landlocked developing countries in Vienna.

35. The Committee noted with appreciation financial contributions of US$ 25,000 from the Government of Spain, US$ 20,000 from the Government of Austria and US$ 100,000 from ESA in support of the 1995 activities of the United Nations Programme on Space Applications.
٣٥ - ولاحظـت اللجنـة مـع التقديـر التبرعـات الماليـة بمبلـغ ٠٠٠ ٢٥ دولار أمريكـي مـن حكومـة اسبانيا و ٠٠٠ ٠٢ من حكومة النمسا و ٠٠٠ ١٠٠ دولار أمريكي من الوكالة الفضائية اﻷوروبية، وذلك لدعم أنشطة برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للتطبيقـات الفضائيـة لعـام ١٩٩٥.

At the time of writing, only the reservation lodged by El Salvador had attracted a formal objection from the Government of Austria for its " general and vague wording " .

(i) In the context of e-learning, UN-SPIDER staff participated in a workshop organized by the Centre for Geoinformatics of the University of Salzburg, where senior experts from the Centre presented the results of a project entitled " e_SPIDER " , which was carried out with financial support from the Government of Austria and is directly linked to the e-learning environment of UN-SPIDER.

96. With respect to the regulation of arms brokering, the Committee was interested in the project developed by UNREC on the regulation of legal brokering in States in East Africa and the Horn of Africa, with financial support from the Government of Austria.
