On the basis of the information received from the Secretary-General of the Conference, the Committee had decided to accept the credentials of 165 States parties participating in the Conference, on the understanding that those delegations which had not presented their credentials in the form required by rule 2 of the rules of procedure would do so as soon as possible.

The Committee had before it two memorandums from the Secretary-General of the Conference dated 5 May and 10 May, containing information on the status of the credentials of the representatives of the States parties attending the Conference.
وكان معروضا على اللجنة مذكرتان من الأمين العام للمؤتمر مؤرختان 5 أيار/مايو و 10 أيار/مايو، يتضمنان معلومات عن حالة وثائق تفويض الممثلين للدول الأطراف الحاضرين في المؤتمر.
