It should, in consultation with Member States, review the implementation of the Global Strategy for Shelter to the Year 2000 with a view to formulating a new Global Housing strategy, and should build on the lessons learned from experimental reimbursable seeding operations and programmes implemented by the Slum Upgrading Facility.
