14. In this vein, the Secretary-General, in his report to the General Assembly at its thirty-eighth session, noted:

Requests the Secretary-General to include in his report to the General Assembly at its fifty-sixth session an assessment of the effectiveness of the contribution made by the United Nations system to advance human resources development in developing countries through its operational activities, and to make proposals to further enhance its impact;
" ١١ - تطلب إلى اﻷمين العام أن يدرج في تقريره الذي سيقدمه إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها السادسة والخمسين تقييما لمدى فعالية مساهمة منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة في تعزيز تنمية الموارد البشرية في البلدان النامية عن طريق أنشطتها التنفيذية، وأن يقدم توصيات لزيادة تعزيز فعالية تلك المساهمة؛

In his report to the General Assembly at its fifty-third session, the Special Representative noted that the Iranian authorities had agreed to cooperate with him in the provision of official statistics on the number of executions.
