Mr. ERMACORA (Vice-Chairman of the Ad Hoc Working Group of Experts on Southern Africa) introducing the report on the situation of human rights in South Africa (A/48/525) on behalf of the Ad Hoc Working Group of Experts, said that the report essentially reflected the findings of a mission to Botswana and Zimbabwe in August 1993 and evaluated the human rights situation in South Africa between February and September 1993.
