At its seventeenth session (New York, 6-9 September 1994), the Working Group on International Statistical Programmes and Coordination of the Statistical Commission requested the Inter-Secretariat Working Group on National Accounts (ISWGNA) to report to the Statistical Commission at its twenty-eighth session on plans and strategies for implementing the System of National Accounts 1993 (1993 SNA) in a maximum number of countries.
