13. The Forum recognized the importance of the Millennium Development Goals, calling upon United Nations agencies to work in collaboration with indigenous peoples towards their achievement and recommending that additional indicators be developed to better assess environmental sustainability.
13 - وأقرّ المنتدى بأهمية الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية، وأهاب بوكالات الأمم المتحدة أن تعمل بالتعاون مع الشعوب الأصلية لإنجاز تلك الأهداف، وأوصى بوضع مؤشرات إضافية لتحسين تقييم الاستدامة البيئية.

The Forum recognizes the importance of such collaborative programmes undertaken jointly by United Nations agencies and indigenous peoples, and calls upon members of the Inter-Agency Support Group and Member States and agencies to develop and apply the cultural indicators in accordance with their mandates, in collaboration with indigenous peoples.

53. in collaboration with indigenous peoples and Governments concerned, the United Nations should establish a trust fund with a mandate to act as a global agent for the recovery of compensation for the unconsented or inappropriate use of indigenous peoples' heritage, and to assist indigenous peoples in developing the institutional capacity to defend their own heritage.
53- ينبغي للأمم المتحدة، بالتعاون مع الشعوب الأصلية والحكومات المعنية، أن تنشئ صندوقا استئمانياً يُناط به العمل كوكيل عالمي لتحصيل التعويضات عن استخدام تراث الشعوب الأصلية استخداماً غير مأذون أو مناسب، ولمساعدة الشعوب الأصلية على تطوير قدرتها المؤسسية على حماية تراثها الذاتي.

64. The Forum recognizes the importance of the Millennium Development Goals in the realization of social and economic development for indigenous peoples, and therefore calls upon United Nations agencies, funds and programmes to work in collaboration with indigenous peoples to achieve such objectives.

84. United Nations entities that have a mandate to defend human rights should, in collaboration with indigenous peoples living in situations of conflict and humanitarian crisis, put in place early warning mechanisms to prevent sexual violence, in particular against indigenous women and girls.

8. In relation to the preparation for the High-level Plenary Meeting/World Conference, the Permanent Forum welcomes the study entitled " Rights of indigenous peoples: achievements and challenges in the Latin American countries " , prepared by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean in collaboration with indigenous peoples and encourages States, agencies and regional commissions to undertake similar studies.
8 - وفيما يتعلق بالتحضير لعقد المؤتمر العالمي المعني بالشعوب الأصلية، يُرحّب المنتدى بالدراسة المعنونة " حقوق الشعوب الأصلية: الإنجازات والتحديات في بلدان أمريكا اللاتينية " التي أعدتها اللجنة الاقتصادية لأمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحري الكاريبي بالتعاون مع الشعوب الأصلية. وهو يشجع الدول والوكالات واللجان الإقليمية على إجراء دراسات من هذا النوع.
