The Panel emphasized that Agenda 21, particularly chapter 11, the Forest Principles and the relevant work of the Commission on Sustainable Development provided the general framework for relevant deliberations in the Panel, which should focus, however, on forest-related aspects of international cooperation in financial assistance and technology transfer.
