In addressing the Commission on 30 March 2001, I gave my full support to the High Commissioner for Human Rights in her efforts to ensure the success of the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance, held at Durban, South Africa, from 31 August to 7 September 2001. Racial discrimination, xenophobia and intolerance are scourges that must be fought and defeated.
198 - وفي خطابي أمام اللجنة في 30 آذار/مارس 2001 أعلنت كامل تأييدي للمفوضة السامية لحقوق الإنسان فيما تبذله من جهود لكفالة نجاح المؤتمر العالمي لمكافحة العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب، المعقود بديربان، جنوب أفريقيا، في الفترة من 31 آب/أغسطس إلى 7 أيلول/سبتمبر 2001، ويعد التمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب والتعصب من الويلات التي لا بد من مجابهتها ودحرها.

(g) Other activities. These included the investigation of demographic changes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, additional support to the Prosecutor in her efforts to persuade Governments to arrest persons indicted for war crimes, temporary prosecution counsel support, witness support, such as medical services and contingency clothing, and an orientation and training programme to familiarize defence counsel with the Tribunal and its rules and practices;
